This LHD system uses Nerospec’s ruggedized ultrawideband underground positioning system (UPS2.0), combined with LiDAR-based perception and advanced muckpile analysis algorithms. The Autonomous Operator System (AOS) is a modular, retrofittable automation package that brings robotic-level intelligence to existing fleets and is designed to perform in real-world underground and surface mining conditions.
