Ocenco Emergency Breathing Apparatus and Respiratory Protection Product Information

Ocenco M-20.3 Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR)™

Ocenco M-20.3 Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR)

The Ocenco M-20.3 is a belt-worn, closed-circuit self-contained self-rescuer (SCSR) designed to provide emergency respiratory protection in environments where breathable air may become suddenly compromised. It offers up to 20 minutes of oxygen supply and is automatically activated when the user dons the mouthpiece and nose clip, allowing for hands-free escape.

Weighing approximately 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs), the M-20.3 is one of the most compact SCSRs on the market. Its lightweight and belt-worn configuration ensures it is always readily accessible, making it suitable for confined spaces or work environments where rapid evacuation may be required.

The unit is sealed and maintenance-free, with a service life of up to 10 years, helping employers reduce the time and cost associated with inspection and replacement. It meets or exceeds all relevant MSHA, NIOSH, and EN standards, including compliance with OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.134 for respiratory protection.

Ocenco EBA 6.5 Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR)

Ocenco M-20.3 Self-Contained Self-Rescuer SCSR

The Ocenco EBA 6.5 is a high-capacity, closed-circuit self-contained self-rescuer designed to provide extended respiratory protection in emergency situations. It supplies up to 60 minutes of oxygen, making it ideal for longer egress routes or for personnel operating in complex underground or industrial environments.

The EBA 6.5 uses compressed oxygen and a demand regulator system, which delivers oxygen only when the user inhales. This extends the operational duration and ensures efficient use of the oxygen supply. The unit activates automatically when the user dons the mouthpiece and secures the nose clip, providing hands-free functionality throughout escape.

Weighing approximately 3.2 kg (7 lbs), the EBA 6.5 can be worn with a shoulder strap or stored in a designated location for emergency use. Like the M-20.3, it is fully sealed and maintenance-free, with a shelf life of up to 15 years, reducing long-term maintenance costs.

The EBA 6.5 meets NIOSH and MSHA standards and complies with OSHA requirements for emergency respiratory protection. It is widely used in mining, tunneling, power generation, and other high-risk environments where reliable, long-duration respiratory protection is critical.
