MEFCOR’S unique nylon bristled drive wheel taps this readily available, trouble-free power source. No electric motor to require long electrical cables. No expensive electric motors or air driven pumps that require frequent, costly maintenance and repairs. Replace those troublesome electric and air driven pumps, at a fraction of the cost of a new pump. No gasoline or diesel engines that require frequent fueling, servicing and maintenance.

Diaphragm Pump – Handles dirty, difficult dewatering jobs quickly, even handles some mud, sand, and debris, as well as large amounts of air. Capacity – Pumps approximately 500 gallons per hour at 500 feet per minute belt speed. Suction and discharge lines as long as 100 feet or more may be used in relatively level areas. The pump will normally prime itself on suction lifts of 15 feet or less. Discharge heads should not exceed 20 feet. Capacity varies with conveyor belt speed and head.

SELF PRIMING
Seldom needs priming. Handles any percentage of air. Positive action of the pump will evacuate water to a fraction of an inch.

CLOG RESISTANT
Will handle mixtures of water and solids.

CAN RUN DRY INDEFINITELY
Self lubricating. Let it pump – whether it’s an occasional seepage or constant pumping. Will evacuate all the water without damage to the unit.

VOID OF CLOSE CLEARANCES – No vanes, no impellers, no rollers to wear out. No close tolerances required to maintain pumping efficiency. Water may be discharged onto the conveyor belt to be carried out with the conveyed material or piped to other areas within the mine to be picked up by larger pumps.
