The CS2100 will not stall (gob-off) due to conveyed material piling up on its structure. Can be completely installed by one person with only a minimal amount of electrical knowledge in less than 5 minutes. Easily handled, weighs only 45 pounds. Has a very simple switching mechanism, Easy to understand and troubleshoot. One size fits nearly every type and size of wire rope belt structure. Can be adapted to rigid structure. No need for you to stock several different units.

FIVE WAYS BETTER!
1. NEW IMPROVED switching mechanism. Eliminates nuisance belt shutdown.
2. FIELD ADJUSTABLE for conveyor speeds from 100 to 600 feet per minute. Just loosen one screw and move counterweight.
3. MORE SENSITIVE. Senses belt stops and slips sooner for more precise belt control.
4. PROTECT-A-SNOUT. A covered shaft to resist damage caused by bad splices and holes in the conveyor belt. Also prevents frayed belt fabric from wrapping around shaft. Protects bearings from dust and water.
5. EXTRA MERCURY SWITCH. Detects abnormal positions and opens the control circuit if the drive wheel swings out from under the conveyor belt or falls from the wire rope.

EASY TO INSTALL!
1. Insert drive wheel between trough and return portion of conveyor belt. Hang inverted U-shaped channel over existing wire rope that supports belt idlers.
2. Connect two wires (black & white) to the circuit you wish to control. Connect green lead to a suitable ground for safety’s sake and you have completed the belt switch installation.
3. Easy to test. Simply lift up on the switch portion to `see-saw’ the drive wheel away from contact with conveyor belt.

FEATURES OF THE MERCURY SWITCHING MECHANISM
Substantially oversized AC-DC rated mercury contact (rated a whopping 20 amperes when used in 120 volt AC circuits). May be used on any AC voltage (up to 600 volts) without alteration or adjustment. The hermetically sealed, steel tube mercury switch takes extreme physical abuse, shock, and vibration. Therefore, it stands up well under the handling, environmental, and operating conditions encountered in the mining industry.

WHEN COMPARED TO MOST ELECTRONIC BELT SWITCHES THE MEFCOR CS2100 OFFERS THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:
