Spillage accumulating on the spring loaded cover of this device opens a heavy duty, normally closed, electrical contact. By wiring it into the control circuit of your conveyor or feeder devices, spills can be quickly detected and the contributing equipment shut down long before major spills occur.

CAUTION: Must be installed by Qualified Personnel only.

Strong stainless steel hinge pin and space-age plastic bushings assure reliable operation – even after months of inactivity.

2. COMPLETELY SEALED AND ENCAPSULATED SWITCHING MECHANISM.
Highly resistant to moist and corrosive mine environments. Less chance of electrical shock. CONTACT RATINGS: 20A @ 120VAC, 15A @ 240VAC, 10A @ 480VAC, 15A @ 120VDC, and 10A @ 240VDC.

3. EXPOSED STAINLESS STEEL ADJUSTING SCREW. Allows fast, simple adjustment of the cover operating spring. Easy to adjust sensitivity for smaller or larger amounts of spillage. The operating spring is stainless steel.

4. RUGGED CONSTRUCTION. 
Heavy duty iron enclosure.

5. PREWIRED. 
Comes complete with twenty feet of MSHA approved electrical cord to simplify installation.

6. OPTIONAL.
